Q. Will the times each aircraft is going to fly be posted on the web site?
No. There are often heavy changes that occur to the planned flying portion of the air show each day due to mechanical problems and other factors. These changes cause us to move aircraft into different time slots than are originally planned resulting in a totally different schedule.

Q. If I have a military ID card or flightline badge can I come out to look at the aircraft prior to the Air Show?

No. To ensure safety, only essential personnel will be allowed on the flightline for air show and military operations. We will have aircraft landing and moving on the flightline and displays being set up all day Friday in preparation for the air show. Non-essential personnel who do not normally work on the flightline or have an air show badge will be turned away by Security Forces.

Q. Is parking free?
Yes.

Q. Is it safe to come to the air show?
Safety is always a primary concern at air shows. You will notice extra uniformed security presence at the air show. This consists of Air Force security forces and local law enforcement officers.

Q. If I cannot bring something into the air show, can I go out to my car during the show?
Yes. Since this show has no admission fee, you may leave and re-enter as you desire. All persons re-entering will have to go through security checkpoints again.

Q. Can I bring my camera/video camera/cell phone?
Yes! There are no restrictions on electronics. However, large camera bags will be searched thoroughly. Bring only necessary camera equipment, leaving excess equipment at home. Camera backpacks are okay, but will be searched.

Q. What about bringing water/drinks/food?
Only water is allowed to be brought into the show as long as it is hand carried and are not in a cooler or carry bag. All items brought in are subject to approval by gate security personnel and a hand-search at the gate.

Q. Can I bring a folding chair or blankets?
Yes, folding chairs and blankets may be brought into the show, but are subject to search.

Q. I have small children. Can I bring a stroller/diaper bag/clothes change/etc.?
Yes. Strollers and wagons will be hand-searched at the gate. Please bring only necessary items in a small diaper bag. Large diaper bags may not be permitted. You can return to your vehicle during the show to retrieve extra clothes, or restock diaper items.

Q. Is there shade at the air show?
Limited shade is available under the wings of some of the larger aircraft and in the large hanger. You should plan on being in the sun most of the time during your visit to the air show. Come prepared with a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Q. If it rains will the show be canceled?
The air show will not necessarily be cancelled on account of rain. Lightening could prohibit safe air show operations and may result in temporarily suspending the air show. Flying acts will perform weather permitting. Aircraft displays and vendor booths will still be open in the event of rain.

Q. Will there be food and gift vendors at the show?
Yes, a wide range of food and gift items will be available for purchase at the air show.

Q. Are coolers allowed?
Coolers are not allowed on air show grounds for security reasons. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the air show.

Q. Are backpacks and bags permitted?
Because of security reasons, backpacks and bags are not permitted. Purses and other small bags are subject to search. Medical packs are the only exception.

Q. Is smoking permitted at the air show?
For the safety of our guests and due to the volatile nature of aircraft and fuels, smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, pipes) will be permitted outside of the flightline in designated areas only. Please ensure to dispose of butts in proper containers as they become a potential hazard to aircraft if sucked up in the engine intakes.

Q. Can I bring my pet?
No pets of any kinds are allowed on air show grounds. Please leave your pets at home and do not leave your pet in your vehicle when you come into the show.

Q. Can my kids bring their bikes, skates, Heelys, scooters or skateboards?
Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, Heelys and inline skates are not permitted on air show grounds.

Q. Is there any RV or tent camping allowed on the base?
No, due to security reasons there is no RV or tent camping allowed on the base for the general public.

Q. Is tailgating allowed?
Tailgating is not allowed due to security reasons.

Q. Will restroom facilities be easily accessible?
Yes. Portable restrooms will be located throughout the air show grounds.

Q. Can I take pictures or get autographs?
Yes. Many of the performers make themselves available for autographs and pictures during the show.

Q. Will it be necessary to have hearing protection?
This event will have jets that take off, land, and perform. Hearing protection should be the same as you would use at any event that will be extremely loud. Visitors to the Air Show are encouraged to bring some form of hearing protection with them.

Q. Are tents or awnings permitted?
Tents and awnings are not allowed on the flightline because they pose a hazard to aircraft engines due to the risk the wind carrying them into operating engines. The large hanger is available to walk around in for temporary relief from the sun.
